Times Tables Rock Stars at Crofton Hammond Junior School
At Crofton Hammond Junior School, we use Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) to support children in developing their times tables knowledge, multiplication fluency and confidence with numbers.
We know that learning times tables can sometimes feel like hard work, but regular practice really does make a difference. TTRS makes this practice fun, engaging and motivating, helping children to build their speed and accuracy while enjoying their maths learning.
Times Tables Rock Stars is an award-winning maths platform that allows children to practise their times tables through a range of exciting, question-based games.
The programme is designed to help children develop quick recall of multiplication and division facts, which in turn supports their wider mathematical learning.
Children can access TTRS on a computer, tablet or other compatible device, making it easy to practise both at school and at home.
Regular times tables practice helps children to:
- Improve their speed and accuracy when recalling multiplication facts.
- Develop confidence with multiplication and division.
- Strengthen their overall number fluency.
